Founder: John Nkugwa

John Nkugwa, originally from Uganda, has lived in the U.S. since 2001. He has coached soccer and basketball at City of Rochester Recreation Centers, for CYO, and was an assistant basketball coach at Harley Allendale Columbia. He is also a referee for RDYSL and CWGBO. Through his coaching and refereeing experience, Nkugwa noticed a lack of participation and foundational skill development for girls' basketball teams. He aims to provide training in essential skills for young girls in the City of Rochester and surrounding areas.
